I had a great stay at the Indio Arms. Outstandingly beautiful house. The renovations carried one back a century....I was very impressed. The staff was helpful. The location was near an express train, 4 stops to 42 street. Can't wait to go back!

When we arrived at the address we thougth we may have made some mistake. The guest house wasn't named and it wasn't obvious from the outside that we were at the rigth place. But once we went through the front door into this beautifully renovated brownstone house with funky furniture and spacious rooms we knew it was definately no mistake!...

I visited NYC for the first time and wanted to stay in a b&b. I picked the Indigo because of its location in a historical area and because it was black owned. The website was very impressive...(mistake #1). After calling in for my check in town, I arrived to the b&b only to find the doors locked remind you its...

Indigo Arms was clean and safe. It's close to the subway and bus. We were able to get to Times Square, on the express, within 15 minutes. I slept well. One night, even with the window open. It's a brownstone, so you'll have to climb stairs, if you're on the second floor. When checking for places to stay, other reviews...

I attended a conference held in Times Square accompanied by my wife. Her daughter came down from Maine to join us. We stayed in a two bedroom suite on the second floor which included a sunny front sitting room. The house was meticulously clean, spacious, and more quiet than I ever would have imagined in New York. Eartha (the owner)...

Eartha was a very gracious hostess and the room was well-appointed and everything was as promised. The breakfast was hearty and the location was great - very close to the subway and a ten minute walk to Central Park. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and a lot better than any overpriced hotel. I would recommend the Indigo Arms...
