The hostel is clean, safe, and in an excellent location. The shared kitchen lets you cook your own meals. The patio and back lawn are unexpected surprises. There are organized activites throughout the week, so you can participate in many things as part of a group if you are tired of wandering on your own.

I took 21 teens to NYC and stayed a week. The hostel is very secure and staff are super-helpful (Zack was our hero!). First and foremost it was just so nice to be able to get out of the really busy and touristy parts of the city.
