Firstly I'm sorry to hear this hotel will be closing down later in the year. You would not know it from the quality of the service, which is excellent. The only clue is the rooftop cocktail bar no longer operates. We booked a superiour suite, which was excellent value for money, and very large by New York hotel standards. Clean,... More

The Beekman Tower Hotel is a good place to spend a few nights in. Although it isn't extremely luxurious, for New York, it was helpful. As in the city there is so much to do that most time is spent out and not in. However, at night after a long day's exploring, it was nice to come back for a very... More

Hard to rate a hotel that is rumoured to be closing but for the price and location, it was perfectly fine. Check in was friendly. The hotel itself has seen better days; it is worn in carpet, walls etc but the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and it was close to everything I needed. While it is open,... More

This hotel offers a large room with modest price tag. I heard that it is soon closed so the restaurant was not functioning and staff moral was not high. Still, I enjoyed a big room and comfortable bed. I am interested in the new hotel but am sure the price is much increased. I wil miss this hotel and price.

The Beekman Tower Hotel will close in a few months for refurbishment, and will become apartments for long-stay guests. As a result, the hotel is looking a bit threadbare. The bar and restaurant on the 26th floor is open, but they don't have a liquor license and have a reduced menu. My room was fine if a little tired. The... More

I spent a week at the Beekman Tower in early March 2013. The hotel was a pleasant surprise and good value. The rooms are spacious - always a surprise in NY - with a kitchen, a large sitting area with a full sofa, and bedroom area. A bit old fashioned - but in good condition. The bathroom was small, but... We decided to visit NYC last-minute, over Thanksgiving, and we wanted to use Amex Rewards points for our hotel. This was one of the few available and we regretted it so much! We got a "suite" and the only upside was that as NYC hotels go, this one was fairly spacious. That's where the positive ends. The sofa-bed for our... More

Its unfortunate some four months have lapsed and we’ve not been able to follow-up on your stay sooner - amends would certainly appear to be in order. In hindsight we might have been more responsive had we known you required the additional sofa bed; yours was a queen by the way. American Express points are not booked by AMEX travel... More

Thank you for staying with us again and especially for your kind words towards the hotel staff. It goes without saying that the hotel is in need of a face-lift but when staffers are gracious and accommodating, ‘stars’ matter little to meet or exceed guests’ expectations. I was pleased to read your interaction with my team enhanced your stay with... More
