My daughter and I had a family room on the main floor. Good security. More than adequate. All we did in the room was regroup, clean up and sleep anyway. Breakfast was light but enough to start the day. Shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly and staying with shared br. is much less expensive. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Horrible!!! I called to reschedule my reservation over 36 hours before hand. I called them and the very unfriendly staffer (Salisha) informed me that there was nothing she could do to prevent my card from being charged. I asked for a manager and was told there was none. She told me the only thing I could do was write an... More

The hotel is located in a fantastic location, a really pretty and quiet street that crosses near the bottom of Fifth avenue, with the NYU community nearby and all the affordable eateries that students like within walking distance. Hotel: Clean, smells good, service is friendly, elevators work well. rooms are small, but appropriate for the price showers and toilet are... More

The rooms are extremely small, but there is everything you need. We had a family room, which had a double bed (which sloped a little toward the middle), a twin bed, and a trundle under the twin, and included a bathroom. The room had two window unit air conditioners and two ceiling fans. There was a kitchen and refrigerator down... More

Perfect location for lower-Manhattan, short walking distance to Chelsea, SoHo, Union Square/NYU. Lovely old townhouse with nice, clean rooms with sinks, and clean hall bathrooms. Friendly and attentive staff. All staff responded promptly to each request. A very easy hotel to use, quiet neighborhood location, and incredible dollar value for staying in New York, if you don't mind sharing a... More

This hotel is probably the best value for money place we have been so far. The location could hardly be better-Greenwich Village, with its bars restaurants, cinemas. There are subways stations within short walking distance (if the weather is nice, you could walk all the way to WTC and Battery Park within 30-40 minutes). It is not luxurious and the... More

This may not be luxury but is clean, comfortable and in a great location on a quiet street in the Village. Great restaurants bars and shops nearby and safe-feeling to walk home in. Sharing the shower/toilet may not be for everyone but I found that the staff worked hard to keep them spotless and I never once had to wait... More

The location could not be better for a cheap hotel in NYC. Rooms are clean and the staff is helpfull. Be aware that some rooms has a shared bathroom, which you can check when booking. Dont expect too much from the breakfast. Toast and cofee is all you are offered.

Don't expect any luxury at all! This is a worn down hotel with a great location in New Yorks - in my opinion - best neighborhood. Placed in The Village and very close to Soho, you'll have great shopping and dining and real New York life at your feet. Breakfast is included which is quite rare in New York. It's... More

Larchmont is inexpensive by NYC standards. It is a 2 star hotel. We stayed last spring for a week after Memorial Day, which was also our fourth visit (I think) since 2002. Room and bathrooms were always clean. Great neighborhood. Feels safe. Decent little continental breakfast included. We are returning again this Spring. I recommend spending the extra money for...
