A friend and I stayed here for a weekend earlier this year. I emailed the hotel for a price and received a rate cheaper than what was advertised on the most travel sites. We arrived in NY around 8am, completely forgetting about check in time. When we arrived at the hotel, though, they allowed us to check in despite being so... More

We normally stay immediately within the Times Square area so were looking to try somewhere new and Chelsea did not disappoint. You are looking at a 10min walk to macys, 20 to Times Square and about an hours walk to ground zero although there are plenty of subway stations within very close proximity.. Checked in quickly and easily to a... More

On my last two trips to this hotel Fatmir was rude, beligerent and spoke down to every cusomer. He had an additude and was the most unprofessional person -I have ever met. Managment should fire that person or take him away from client interaction. I have traveled all over the world and have never experienced such behavior, even at a third... More

The location and convenience of this hotel was outstanding. I got off the Megabus 4 blocks away and was able to walk to the hotel. In addition, two subway lines are within a few blocks in either direction, making it one of the best locations I have stayed at in the city. Both Eataly and the High Line walking park... More

I loved this hotel. I recently stayed here with my boyfriend and had an awesome experience. I noticed a comment below me, criticizing a front desk manager named Monika. I too had many interactions with her and I have to completely disagree. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything, even gave me coupons for a discount at Madame Tussauds. She was... More

Considering that hotels are so expensive in NY, this hotel was a good deal for the price. The location is great, right in the middle of Manhattan with easy access to the subway. It's kind of a long walk to Times Square, but worth the time so you can see lot's of people and stores. It's an old hotel, but... More

We stayed at the chelsea savoy for 5 days, our stay overall was great, the hotel was very clean and the continental breakfast was nice too. Also the location was amazing since the hotel is located in the middle of almost everything. We came to visit new york from europe with my cousins and we did love it....except for one... More

This is my second stay at the Chelsea Savoy, my 1st being in 2007. It's a bit run down around the edges, but overall it's a good experience. It's 8 short blocks from Penn station, from which I take the bus down 7th ave since the subway station under the Savoy has stairs, and my bag is too big. It... More

We rented two rooms this past weekend for a bachelorette party and had a great time. The hotel was in a great location and right next to an amazing doughnut shop (as seen on the Food Network). The rooms were spacious and typical of any hotel room. They even let us check in an hour early. Breakfast was provided, but... More

We stayed here for one night. Believe it or not, they have 5 rooms that rent for $99.00. There is one on each floor and they are right next to the elevator - you do hear it going up and down. (not bad unless you are a light sleeper. The bed was very comfortable and the bath with tub and shower... More
