Good location. WiFi was poor throughout the Motel. Seems to be a favorite stop for truckers and cowboys. Great restaurant.

We had a very large room with a double sink and large vanity which worked out great for our family of four. The room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Killing cockroaches is not a vacation. Towels with holes in them, dirty trash can, and a non smoking room that obviously had a chain smoker living in before we got there. Horror movie set? Yes I think so.

there are NO fancy hotels in Carlsbad, NM. However, we are there on business quite a bit. The staff at the Stevens are always accommodating, the rooms are clean, the onsite restaurant serves homemade chicken fried steak (a fav with the guys, and they can get a cold beer or a cocktail).
