DO NOT STAY HERE! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A DIRTY MOTEL!! The bathroom was filthy! Mildew all over the bah tub. Old tub that soaked in dirt. Holes in the walls. Needed vacuuming, carpets dirty! Floors dirty, walls dirty! Some rooms don't even have dead bolts. I did not feel safe.

Carlsbad has many motels and hotels, but no really good options (we have tried several). However, I would caution people to avoid this noisy, dirty, run-down hotel at all cost unless everything else in town is full! The managment must have changed since some of the earlier reviews were written!
