Dang, this place is expensive. Let's get that out of the way. “The feeling of a Big City Hotel located in Carlsbad, NM”

This hotel was an excellent stay from start to finish. Quality rooms and service. Located next to a Walmart and Chili's Restarant. Kind of far away from the other side of town where there is additional restaurants. But the location, in my opinion was a great one to build on.

The Inn itself is very nice. The proximity to the National Park can't be beat. But you have to remember that you're in Carlsbad, New Mexico. “Safe haven from the, um, locals”

Put simply: Carlsbad is a "rural New Mexico" town and those that are not from towns like this, being used to the finer points of life, find this a useful retreat to hide and recover from, "The outside." Everything is in order here, a great place to stay.

This hotel was very clean. Great staff. Room perfect. If going to the Carlsbad Caverns this is about 20 minutes away and you can buy your Cavern entrance ticket at the hotel desk for the same price. Staff very helpful and friendly.
