Drummer Cove is at the narrowest point of Cape Cod- less than 2 miles from ocean to bay so both spots can be enjoyed. Also, there are ponds in between. The hostess was very ingratiating and will share her knowledge of places to visit.
After a long drive, who doesn't enjoy the smell of frying onions, cigarette smoke, and stale empty beer bottles on the "common deck?" How about the sight of soaking sweat socks al fresco? Or the daily sound and vibration of power drilling at (BYO) cocktails? Wonderful Cove views, cobwebs included. With one-ply tissues, "used" soap in the shower, plastic cups...
