Our last trip to the Duck Creek Tavern was delicious, friendly, cozy and fun. Not only did we have great dishes, wine and service but Judy, the owner, treated us like family.

Stayed for 3 days and found everything pretty good. The room was very clean, had good lighting, a/c and 2 fans. Great location to walk into town. This feels like a place resting on its laurels, employing staff on the cheap who therefore care little for service. The rooms are small and the walls are board-thin. Second floor rooms have fans, which are ineffectual in the summer. Especially dismal are the bathrooms - tiny, unventilated, appalingly lit and damp.
