If you have been around this area, you would know this is one of the better hotels. The service and clean rooms and great beds make this a great hotel.

Very basic hotel. Lacks character and ambiance. Restaurant and bar are flat out boring. Location is great for getting on highway to see all of San Diego. Negative is you hear that highway. Be sure and ask for room facing the hillside versus the highway as it will be quieter. The top 14th floor has vaulted ceilings that are really... More

Hotel has a good location if you don't mind using the car. 10min to Zoo or Downtown. Rooms have good size and comfortable bed and are still up to date. Nothing wrong with hotel but also nothing very special. Just a descent good hotel.

End of West Coast trip and stayed here for 4 nights before heading home. Very easy to find from the airport from the freeway to Hotel Circle via I8 east. Lobby was welcoming & spacious & modern. Allocated room # 702 facing the back ( as requested) over looking the pool, large & plenty of space in the room. Comfortable... More

This hotel is very convenient for getting around, as it is right off the freeway. Being right off the freeway has it's disadvantages though- the road noise was very loud in our room which faced the freeway. The hotel showed some wear and tear (like names scratched in the wood in the elevator and worn spots on wood fixtures) but... More

We are very pleased to be in such a great location. Our motto is 'connections are everything' because we are a short drive to all of San Diego's attractions! Some of our guests do like the city view which is on the highway side and some prefer a quieter hillside view; we are usually able to offer a choice of... More

You can get good rates here because the hotel is in need of major upgrading/maintenance. As SPG Gold on a deeply discounted rate I received an upgrade to a Club Level Suite. The suite was clean, comfortable (very good bed) but was really showing its age. For what I paid I was pleased. Staff was very good. Location is in... More

We do believe we have some of the best staff in San Diego, and thank you for mentioning them! Our central location is very convenient and another reason so many choose our hotel, along with the great value. We regularly compare our parking fees to that of our competitors in this area, and try to remain a value in that... More

Beautiful Lobby....The staff at hotel made up for all the "little" inconveniences. First room given was a handicap room.(?!!!) We asked them to save this room for someone who actually needed a special room, and to move us to another room. It was done IMMEDIATELY!! In "new" room, no lightbulb in reading lamp, stopper in bathroom sink broken, lightbulb burned... More

We will personally pass along the kudos to the staff- we are regularly recognized for having excellent guest service. Our apologies for the inconveniences and are happy that we were able to make corrections in a short time. We will review the feedback with the managers and staff to ensure more comfortable accomodations for other travelers in the future! More

I stayed for the weekend at this hotel. One of the strong points was the friendly, helpful staff. Giovanna and Trevor at the front desk stood out, and Mel and Robert with the bell captain/shuttle drivers were great! I saw one guest really being unhappy about the charge for the parking, which when I checked in was explained very well... More

I was in San Diego for two weeks for work, and stayed here the entire time. I would not go back. Its location was extremely convenient for getting around the city. However, the hotel itself was in pretty poor shape. My carpet was stained in multiple places and was sticky with what I hope was Scotch-guard. The elevators frequently took... More

Thank you for your feedback. We can't improve without it! We have reviewed your comments and have taken action to make corrections where we can. Our parking rates are consistent with other hotels in Mission Valley, however we are sorry that the card readers at the gate didn't work while you were there. We have since had our company come... Only stayed one night; 5th floor hallway has some sort of AC/chiller noise towards the east end of the hallway - sounds like a jet engine. Fairly quiet with door shut. Room was ok, carpet did not look good, multiple spots, small bathrooms. Staff was exceptional though.
