What a lovely little environmentally-friendly cottage in a beautiful neighborhood, staffed by outstanding hosts. We stayed for several nights, each evening walking down the hidden path to the backyard oasis, where the little cottage greeted us with warmth and coziness. The Cottage is wonderful. It's a real Craftsman Cottage with its own little garden, filled with period furniture. Carol is thoughtful about little details (bottled water in the fridge, fresh flowers in the rooms, travel books and restuarant guides in the living room). I was lucky to find The Cottage and am astonished no-one has ever reviewed this B&B on Trip Advisor. Carol is kindness personified and couldn't do enough to help me have an enjoyable stay in San Diego.
