This was a nice hotel in San Diego. It could be SO much better if they would do just a little bit of updating. We had a suite with a marina view which was nice and big for 4 people. We splurged and bumped ourselves on up to the Rio Suite... Needless to say, it was ENORMOUS, beautiful, and we were right on the harbor. We spent a good deal of time watching the boats and the people who own them--lucky so-and-so's. In the evening, we were given access to the blues show going on at one of the venues... More

The suites are large and open and have pocket doors to close off the bedroom at night. The harbor view room was lovely with a covered patio, table and chairs. The staff were fabulous ! Free bike use for 2 hours daily, pool area and hot tub are large, pool is heated is open early and stays open late.

I couldn't ask for more in a hotel. Heated pool and large spa were always clean and not crowded. Gardeners were planting flowers and cleaning the grounds every day I was there and it really does feel like Hawaii (I have stayed in Maui and it reminds me of that).
