Nice lobby, good hotel bar, Concierge was not very knowledgeable, rooms were clean, Very nice gym for a hotel! A bit of a walk to get downtown so not the best location for a short weekend trip for pleasure but overall a good experience.

This was our 4th trip to Boston, and the first time at a different hotel. The Renaissance is a very nice and clean hotel and the staff very friendly. Our room was very nice and bright, but our view of a parking lot and Industrial area was a far cry from the beautiful view we are accustomed to at our... More

I am a bit surprised that the Renaissance is not ranked higher in the list of Boston hotels. I've stayed at the Nine Zero (very trendy and hip, but dark rooms) and the Seaport (modern, clean, neutral decor), and I enjoyed the room and atmosphere of the Renaissance better than either of the latter hotels. I was in a king... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. After about a 10-15 minute cab ride from the airport, I had an efficient check in at the front desk. I received a King room located at the end of a hallway on the 6th floor with large windows that overlooked the city. Room was modern, clean and incredibly spacious with a chair... More

Very comfortable but not a luxury hotel. So I was a bit disappointed when I stayed in 2012 late April early May for 10 nights for conference and business meetings. All the basics were good with large bright rooms, huge windows, clean and good condition. (But why only one coffee) I was in a mid floor room with view of... More

Located in the happening waterfront area near the convention center, the Renaissance is a solid choice for quiet, comfort and convenience. This relatively new property has a somewhat stark, modern motif but the public areas are warm and welcoming. The rooms are strikingly light and bright compared to most business hotels with off-white walls and boldly colored furnishings. Although it... More

We booked this hotel as we were looking for a comfortable and convenient base for our trip to Boston. It is not right in the centre, but the Silver Line T (an express bus) has a stop just by the hotel and this is a very quick way of getting to South Station - it takes just a few minutes... More

An impressive facade and lobby gave way to a somewhat average room and experience. Hotel is a mile from downtown sights, reachable from South Station by MBTA Silver Line. Taxis were not plentiful, and our ride to Fenway area took 45 minutes. Nice room, although view away from water is industrial. Small annoyances, like lack of bath gel, microscopic hair... More

LOCATION: This hotel is a 15 to 20 minute walk from Boston South Station (there were no cabs & a line of 40 people!). From the convention center, it is about a 5 minute walk. Cabs are about $10 to most destinations. LOOK: The hotel is a new property with a clean modern decor. It is very well-maintained and clean.... More
