This is a really new immaculately clean and well run hostel. Unlike other HIs the staff are really friendly and great with any questions. The atmosphere is really related despite the fact it is central in the city with the common only a few hundred metres away. As a bonus the guy that runs the activities, pub crawls etc looks... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in May, had a great time. Very clean rooms. Bathrooms are regularly maintained. Breakfast was good and wifi is decent in pretty much any area of the hostel. Location was perfect, walking distance to pretty much everything we needed, including different options for the subway! I would definately stay here again. The fan in the... More

I’ve traveled to dozens of countries and stayed in hostels in most of them, but this was definitely the best hostel I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. HI-Boston is a very large, brand new hostel located near the theatre district and China Town. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the nearest subway stop and the Boston Common, and is close... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the end of April, with a friend in a 4 people bedroom. Each person has a hook to put their clothes, a big locker (no lock, I think you can ask for one though), a reasonable big compartment next to the bed with a light and sockets to plug in stuff, towels and sheets as... the place is pretty clean, the staff is really helpful. And of course the price is amazing compared to other places in Boston. The location is close to downtown Boston, Boylston Street, Boston Opera, you literally got everything around you in a walking distance. Do not hesitate to stay here.

I had a great time, the hostel is new, modern, very clean and spacious! The dorms were comfortable and the staff very approachable. Amenities were clean. I felt safe. Would stay there again! The hostel provided lockers to store cases etc in after check out and I could check in earlier than the required time.

I spent two nights at the hostel during an impromptu trip to Boston. The location is pretty much unbeatable, close to a couple of T Stations, in Chinatown where there's lots of cheap eats, and walking distance to lots of stuff. In addition to being very new, the hostel is well appointed, I slept comfortably in a full standard dorm,... More

No 2 hostels are alike, but this one I would recommend. Upside, very clean, new, large spaces, comfortable bed and tv lounge room, great coffee shop,, priced great, center of everything and close to public transportation. Downfall, this wasnt exactly a youth hostel...several older people stayed at this hostel...made for a quieter atmospher, more ppl stick to themselves, which defeats... More
