Had a friends weekend, we chose this hotel for a change of pace. Room 810 had two queen beds, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, edgy decor, very well-appointed. Only thing that could be improved was the view--across the large windows that actually opened was another building of about the same height; they could see us and we could see them....

The staff really have the art of hospitality down! This positive attitude is in tune with the hotel's wish for visitors to 'relax'. Excellent location near the park, walking distance to lots of great places, easy to get on transportation system (T) for other excursions. Fantastic home base for great time in Boston.
This hotel made for a wonderful weekend getaway! It is very centrally located. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The food in the area is amazing! The staff are wonderful too! The room was very comfortable and the view was great. I will definitely be staying here again if I return to Boston!
This was a very nice boutique hotel...an easy walk to many of the tourist spots. The room was pretty small for the price. Maybe I am not used to downtown Boston pricing so it might be very competitive...just don't know. Service was excellent.
Party! Upon nearing the hotel and getting out of the car, one is overcome with rather loud pulsing music from hidden speakers. This carries on into the lobby and then in the elevator for a real dance club feel. How can you be in a down mood here? This was the hotel we chose for our final days (2 nights)...

Nice hotel, good service, nice clean rooms. Free internet if you sign up and get a Kimpton membership. Very nice addition, figuring most places, at this level, will charge you $10-15 internet per day. Nice free wine cocktail, between 5-6 pm. No hors d'oeuvres at this location during the happy hour while I have had them in other Kimpton hotels....

I only stayed here one night but from the time I checked in, I felt very welcomed. The service was not only attentive but very friendly. The free wine from 5 - 6 was a delightful surprise as was the "fish tank" channel on the large TV when I entered my room. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean....

This is my second experience with a Kimpton hotel, and I can say that the first was no fluke. The staff really cares about the experience you have. We were only there for a night, and we spent a large part of the day out in the city, so we missed the wine reception. But even so, we felt welcomed....
