My husband and I drove into the city for the night to see the Bruins game and this hotel was on sale through Expedia for a good deal. I liked the idea of being so centrally located as we really enjoy walking through and exploring Boston on foot. We arrived at the hotel early and were able to check right... More

Thanks for your feedback Cape Cod Traveler, and I am so sorry you were disappointed with our hotel. I’m sorry that you thought the Lobby looked a bit worn, and I am happy to report that this Spring we will begin renovations of the entire Lobby/bar and restaurant area. As for the tiny elevator, I’m sure you are referring to... More

Awesome stay! Awesome hotel! Required valet parking threw me off but during my stay I found that parking all over in Boston is expensive so you might as well pay to stay nearcyour hotel... Overall the customer service and the room was great!!! Would definitely stay again!!! P.s the cookies are AWESOME! More

I stayed at this location on a Thursday night and found it a good deal for downtown Boston at $109.00 for the night. It is steps away from the Tufts Medical Center T stop and seemed to be a safe neighborhood. The desk clerk allowed me to check in about an hour early and I received my cookies and water... More

In Boston to see the sights, the hotel is conveniently located. T line is just a few steps down from the hotel to get downtown. In theatre district - short walk to the Blue Man Group which was a lot fo fun. Lots of dining options. Room was comfortably large but a little dated. Wash basin and mirror were outside... More

We needed a hotel close to Tufts Medical and this was it. The hotel is directly across the street from the hospital so all we had to do was walk out one door and into the other.I wish they had a shuttle from the airport but oh well it's easy enough to get a cab.It was a short walk to... More

A good budget option in Downtown Boston, just next to the Tufts Medical T. Our group requested an early (11am!) check-in and all thirteen rooms were available on check-in, along with complementary cookies. My room was large, clean and comfortable; the bathroom a touch dated but it did the job. The only downsides: breakfast not included, and wifi only at... More

Thank you Andrew for taking the time to post. I do remember your group taking the early train from New York. Delighted we were able to have all the rooms ready. To address the wifi and Breakfast- on our website you will find different options ie room only, room with wifi or room with breakfast. As your group were only... More

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful from check in until check out. However, I felt the hotel facility itself disappointed me a bit and I was expecting more from a Doubletree. The entry was a small issue for me, being you walk into the main level but you had to take two separate elevators to get to your room... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I do receive tremendous feedback on the team at the DoubleTree . They really are hospitality minded and I thank you for the positive response about them and the great location that we have. To address the "updating of the hotel", I am happy to say that we are going... More

Having staying in this section of Boston before I was not sure what to expect. This hotel exceeded my expectations in literally every way. The staff was welcoming, the room was spotless, the best was exceptional. The only thing I can complain about is that the parking was forty dollars for valet. You really don't have much choice in the... More

Wow Mr. Meyer thanks for the kind words! It means a lot to us especially since I can see that you are a Trip Advisor very frequent traveler. So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and were happy with the staff and housekeeping. Regarding the valet parking, you are right valet service in Boston is expensive. There are pubic... More

Had a great experience at the Doubletree Downtown during a five-night stay over Thanksgiving. The staff was well trained, extremely helpful and friendly, greeting us each time we entered the hotel. Breakfast was good, although I might have been unhappy if I had had to pay $21 for the buffet. Our breakfast was included as Hilton Gold members. Yes, the... More

Stayed at this Doubletree over a recent weekend while attending a convention. Have stayed here before and always found it a convenient location to some excellent eateries (particularly if you like Asian food) and convenient to getting from and to Logan (the airport). The hotel is on the Orange Line (Medical Center stop) and is just a few steps from... More

Thanks for the post Mainer 7, and for pointing out how convenient we are to all of Boston. You really cannot beat the location! To address the breakfast question. For our HH members –most of our HH guests preferred points instead of a breakfast thus we now offer a triple choice which is the continental breakfast, points or internet. However... More
