The hotel is located on Boylston Street just a stone throw away from many bars, restaurants and shops. I did not stay but, met up with a friend and visited her room. Security is very tight and a key was needed to move the elevator. The room was gorgeous! They provided robes, slippers, an umbrella, yoga mat, etc. There was... More

Huge room, great service, nice gym/restaurant in a fabulous location in downtown Boston. Expensive, but definitely worth it for what is essentially a Four Seasons level experience. The only downside was the extra (albeit relatively reasonable) charge for Internet connectivity.

I can't forget the blood stain on the carpet across from the closet. A hotel of this category should have removed that area of the carpet removed immediately. Also, they forgot to change the sheets from the last guest. It reeked of her perfume. I made them change all of the linens.

I've stayed in a lot of high end hotels but never one as accommodating with such an exceptional staff as The Mandarin Oriental in Boston. There was no request there were not prepared for. The rooms are decorated beautifully, the bed was just perfect. The shower has a wonderful with a Rain head at the top and a hand held... More

Maybe it was the Egyptian chamomile tea upon arrival that set the stage for the entire stay, but the staff just seemed to know what I needed even before I did. No frustrating encounters with lobby or business room printers for the boarding passes—they printed the for me and delivered them to my room. One less hassle is always a... More

We came to Boston for a family excursion and were blown away by this hotel. We enjoy staying at Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and other five star hotels. This property and managemt team far exceeded our expectations. The bedding was like sleeping in a cloud. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed in room 532 which did not have... More

You just can't go wrong here. From the moment you check in until the moment you leave, everything just seems to flow. The rooms are amazing. Bathrooms fantastic. Don't expect much from breakfast. They charge you too much for average food. Go across the street and have breakfast. Overall, great. I would totally go back. Leo Daflon

Fabulous room and amenities. Quiet, a good size, and with upscale furnishings. Service was great, if a little omnipresent. Room service prices were alarming.....$32 for bacon and eggs! Parking is ludicrous, even for Boston, $48 a night. Excellent location for strolling.and a really good situation for getting to any place in downtown Boston
