My wife and I spent the weekend in the Whippoorwill cabin. Great accommodation. We debated on our drive up to Asheville as to what our plans would be...go the the Biltmore House, uptown Asheville, many, many other opportunities to sight see. When we arrived at Mountain Springs our decision was made. We were going to practice the Art of Nothingness.... More

What a wonderful place for what we wanted and needed. To relax and get away for a couple days.Because our original cabin ( The Cricket) was undergoing renovations, Kate upgraded my husband and I to Willow Creek. Great choice! The stream was great for listening to day and night and for looking at while sitting on the back porch either... More

I was skeptical about our lodging, having never been to the area, but it took 5 minutes to feel perfectly at home in an immaculate cabin by a beautiful brook. It was truly love at first visit. But..... the best part was the management. We met three lovely ladies who charmed us right out of our socks. They were efficient,... More

We were very favorably impressed with the size, condition, and amenities of cabin #5 (Whippoorwill). Loved the antique and rustic furnishings, not to mention the granite countertops and large fridge. Two porches with swings, rockers, and settees -- outstanding -- and then there was the brook and the birdsong. Some folks might not like hearing a rooster from across the... More

Thanks for the review. And thank you for your suggestions. The screens went up on the cabins today. I take them off in the winter to let more light in. I was a bit late getting them up this year. I don't see the existing cabins getting dishwashers, but it is a consideration as well as additional baths with the... More

Mountain Springs was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay for our honeymoon. We stayed in Cabin #8, The Chickadee, which was a good fit for us. We loved the back deck for when we stayed in to eat dinner, as we grilled 3 nights during our stay. The front porch was great anytime of day to... More

Our girls weekend at Mountain Springs Cabins far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in "The Potting Shed", our little home away from home. We could not have been more pleased. As soon as we drove up, we just knew we were in for the treat of our lives. The cabin, was ohhhh soooo cozy, very SPOTLESS, inviting, just a "do... More

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed in cabin 11, my brother and his kids stayed in cabin 12, and my parents stayed in cabin 9. The kids (ages 12, 14, 14, and 16) loved it here. We played tetherball, volleyball, softball, and just hung out in the hammocks, on the porches, or just took short walks along the... More

Mountain Springs Cabins are a great place to stay. Close enough to all the things to see and do, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the mountains. Cabins are well equipped and the staff were so helpful in the little ways that make it so unique. Hands down the best kept secret in Ashville.

Family fun!! We stayed in Cabin 12 and our cousins stayed in Cabin 11. We all had so much fun. The kids played along the stream and we took nature hikes. It's so beautiful around the whole area. We had a big barbeque picnic one night all together at the picnic and playground areas which is just a stone throw... More
