We've stayed at the Princess Anne three times and never been disappointed. The quiet neighborhood, excellent service, good food and reasonable rates are hard to beat. This is an old but revitalized structure, so there's no pool and no fitness center. And yes, the hardwood floors creak in places. But the staff are wonderful and the decor does NOT suffer...

My family and I recently stayed at the Princess Anne. We were not disapointed. Our rooms were very nice, albiet a bit small for the price. The hotel has that "old home" feel and the wooden floors all squeak (which in our opinion was nice). The staff knows the area well and will make plenty of recomendations for dinner and...

We went to Asheville for a weekend getaway and stayed at the Princess Anne luxury apartment about 1 block from the hotel. It is in an old apartment building called the Charlotte. It would be great fun for an extended stay. We felt like we were in a Parisian apartment. It was very fun and a great spot to come...

One of the best boutique inns at which we have had the pleasure to stay ever!! Absolutely friendly and helpful staff, John, Ashley and owner Howard; especially since we were trailering a 22 ft sailboat and thus needed some special quidance parking in the quaint neighborhood in which the inn is located. The complimentary hors d'oeuvres were wonderful, and again...

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th Anniversary and had a wonderful time. It is away from the noise of the city, but close enough to go and enjoy downtown.
A modern feel to a beautifully restored hotel. Wonderful breakfast! Employees are exceptionally helpful and nice. Will visit again!
After reading other reviews extolling excellence of this hotel I have nothing to add. It's perfect- from front desk check-in staff to room to afternoon wine (excellent) and hor doerves to breakfast to beautiful parlor/sitting area to large comfortable suites. Everything 1st class about this hotel. Even coffee, organic teabags and truffles in room are the best. This hotel gives...

my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Prince Anne in October 2011. We had a wonderful time. We walked into the city during the day (and drove at night). John at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast and wine/cheese hour were amazing, it was even better than we had atticipated. Beautiful historic building with a lot of...

My husband and I are lovers of small, quiet inns and B & B's, and we are history lovers, so the Princess Anne fits the bill. This was our first stay, and we definitely plan to return. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The afternoon wine/cheese reception is so relaxing, delicious, and enjoyable. Breakfast we yummy. Patrons have a...
