If you don't the frayed edges& bad decor in the lobby and a ok breakfast, but want very clean beds good housekeeping & service, attentive check in + the perfect Down town location for bars& restaurants within 2- 3 mins walk. I recommend this hotel as it is very reasonably price for a down town hotel.

Stayed 2 nights for a weekend end get away in Asheville. The hotel was a remarkable value. We had a room overlooking the pool at the back of the Hotel which was clean and comfortable. This hotel has the nicest personal working there. Our room was nice and clean the beds are comfortable. The only thing I would change is location. We had a room on the road side and it was very noisy. When we go back (and we will) we will request a room poolside instead. Great value for location though.

From the outside, we've always been hesitant to book a room at Downtown Inn and Suites. We love Asheville, and the location is perfect for what we are after. The rates are great! The room is extremely comfortable, clean and more than you would expect for the price. The staff may have been the best part.
