We stayed at the Brookstone for one night while visiting Asheville. It was pretty convenient to the Biltmore area and downtown (but not walkable to either). It is located in a business park-like area so we didn't really walk around outside the hotel. It did appear to be a pretty safe area. There did seem to be a kids fun... More

We were traveling to visit the Biltmore Mansion. This hotel is not only convenient, but a great value for the price. Both my wife, son and I were impressed with the room. The decoration of the room was nice. The only problem was the air conditioner rattled as it started up. My son tried to fix it by placing a... More

We thought that the price for the room was fair. We paid $79 plus tax for a nice room with two queen beds. It was odd that the one king bed was $99 - did not make sense, but we chose the lower priced room. The room was pleasant, clean, attractive, and plenty of space in the room. We had... More

Not a bad spot, especially if you consider your hotel a "home base". However, if you want to spend a lot of time at your hotel, this may not be the spot for you. Everything is updated and clean. Everyone seems friendly and helpful. It's really just a decent place to lay your head. Room is small and there is... More

We spent four nights in Asheville before and after a trip to Great Smokey National Park, and stayed in two of the TripAdvisor top-rated hotels, Brookstone Lodge and Country Inn and Suites in West Asheville. Both were fine places to stay, with similar room rates. Country Inn is visibly classier with more amenities, but Brookstone’s location is much better for... More

We had reservations for 3 nights but cut it short because the bed was too hard for us to sleep on. They added a pillowtop after we asked about a softer mattress but it didn't help much. We suffered 2 nights with little sleep and considerable pain. I think it pretty much ruined the trip for us. To be fair,... More

We enjoyed a fresh clean room at Brookstone Lodge. The beds were just the right amount of mattress comfort, not unbearably soft or rigidly hard. The bathroom was clean and had absorbent towels and consistent water pressure for a refreshing shower. There were no little bottles of soaps or lotion, the bathroom shower had refillable containers for shampoo and body... More

Read reviews of many and picked this one. All reviews said clean and it was especially the bathroom. The breakfast area was cozy and had everthing you could think of. Close to Biltmore Estate but DO NOT use your GPS or you will end up well just use your map or call hotel like I did when we got lost... More

Thanks for the review! Nice to read you had a great time once you found us. We are conveniently located just off of exit 51 on I-40. But it is important if you are relying on a navigation system to put in our zip code of 28803. There is more than one Roberts Road in town. We look forward to... More

Booked reservations after reading many reviews. Several negative experiences on this visit leads me to believe they have some fundamental problems, starting with the customer facing employees. Check in: Paper at the desk notifying that the hot tub was out of order. Disappointing, but it happens. Expressed some disappointment to the check-in person, go an "oh well" response. Didn't express... More

Brookstone Lodge was easy to find and looked cozy from the outside. Staff was friendly and hepful. As noted in previous reviews, it's not right in the middle of all the fun in Asheville, but it's a 5 minute drive to local shops, restaurants, etc. We took back roads around the lodge and discovered a lot of fun places by...
