My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Haywood - a sort of 'mini-vacation' to celebrate our anniversary. The room was extremely comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the chocolate shop in the building was incredible. They unloaded and parked the car for us - we didn't see it until time to leave. Excellent restaurants, shops and... More

We always pass through Asheville on our way from GA to VA, but we never had time to stay overnight until this trip. Not being all that familiar with Asheville, I searched hotels online and thought the Haywood Park Hotel sounded like it had the most character. What a great choice! From the second we pulled up to the curb... More

My husband and I stayed at the Haywood for about five days and couldn't have been happier. The room was very large and comfortable, with a separate sitting area. The location was perfect. It's in the very heart of downtown and of course, everything is within walking distance. The free internet service and free parking were a nice extra. The... More

It seems as if the Haywood Park Hotel pulled out all the stops for us. Large room in the front of the hotel, thus, spectacular view. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the champagne hit the right note. Everything fun that we wanted to do was within walking distance of the hotel, so our car stayed parked. Each afternoon,... More

Our recent visit to Asheville was to be immersed into the downtown experience of self-guided walking tours taking in boutique shops, choosing from the varied fine dining alternatives, listening to the sweet sounds of the musical landscape, while mingling with a crowd of satisfied souls. The results were all that and more. Asheville is a breath of fresh mountain air... More

I attended a meeting at this hotel. Courtesy, cleanliness, beauty, service, as well as the beautiful room was 5 star all the way. I was there fr 3 nights and could find nothing to say that was negative in any way. What a great location too. I highly recommend it.

Very clean hotel with all the amenities and small touches to make it a fantastic stay. Fun and unique hotel that was a department store, elevator says "third floor, childrens wear." Great views of city and rolling hills. Solace restaraunt is world class. Don't miss the chocolate shop. Located in the heart of the city with great surrounding entertainment and... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night with 3 other couples. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Nashville within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again. It is advertised as pet friendly, but we didn't see or hear any animals.

The Haywood is a fun place to stay. It is located in the former Bon Marche' department store--later the Ivey department store. The rooms are very large, with a sitting area of plush furniture. The hotel keeps some of the history of its origins with pictures in the lobby and samples of things you could purchase at the store in... More
