I have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times. I have not had any bad experiences and enjoy the atmosphere. The bar is nice and it is directly across the street from several good places to eat. Not far from Ford Park if you are going there.

We stayed here with my sons Baseball team due to its proximity to Ford Field. The room had clearly been occupied by a prom group before us and was never cleaned. This property is worn and old looking. I attended a conference here. The meeting rooms were fine. The catering was not good at all! Food was mediocre and bland. Waiters were very nice; but slow. Rooms were clean; but dated. It is fine for 1 night although there are many newer hotels in the same area.

Lots of great parking. Right off the I-10. Typical Holiday Inn Hotel wraped around an echoing atrium, but the huge cascading waterfall made great white sound. Great staff. Only problem, lots of kids running all around heading to the pool.
