This hotel is modern and convenient, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had an acceptable stay. However, having now stayed at both in La Junta, the Hampton Inn gets the nod over the HI Express. This hotel is a little noisier, not quite as clean and well-maintained, and the pool and spa area isn't quite as nice. More

Pros - Very clean, good breakfast, very nice staff. Cons - Backed up shower drain for 8 hours, trains (100 yards away) blasted their horns at 3:00am and 4:00 am every night, large A/C compressor cycled on/off every 20 minutes on the north end of the building. More

Recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express, La Junta, CO with my spouse, daughter and granddaughter. It was a very nice experience. Clean and spacious room. VERY comfortable beds. Good shower. Hotel has elevator. Nice hot breakfast. The staff was as friendly and helpful as anyone could wish. I would recommend this to anyone at any time for any travel reason. More

At $99+tax, this hotel was the model of well-working systems. Slightly upscale, interior room. Everything about room was convenient and guest-friendly. The great Mexican restaurant Felicia's is a short walk away. When we stayed here last year, we were frustrated.
