We arrived to find the RV park so packed we could not get into original space. The campground spaces are crowded in on top of each other. There are a lot of activities to do and park was reasonably clean. There was only 1 dumpster and by Monday it was overflowing. We cut our stay short. Will not go back.

We had chosen a Patio site and a specific one. We did not lock it and on the day we arrived it was taken. We were moved to another one with dirt, extremely unlevel pad. The next day the one we had selected was empty and remained empty. The next day Tree cutters/trimmers came about 9 a.m. they parked their shredder several feet away from our RV. The noise the dirt, the dust was horrendous. No one should have been put in that site we were on! They told us we could move, but with a Class A we did not want to move and set up all over again. We received coupons for pizza, specialty coffee but nothing is ever open. Was useless to have. The pool is nice, good size and a nice office. Close to Harpers Ferry. Also the water levels are low, and tubing is in 2 inches of deep water. Not KOA fault but not much to do given low water levels. Same with Rafting. …

We were traveling from New England to Florida this winter, and were so grateful this place was open in January for us to spend the night! We have a converted van, and were almost alone here, but bathrooms were clean, woman at front desk super nice. A lot of the amenities were closed for season, which is to be expected in January. Would have liked maybe a reduced rate as a lot of amenities were closed, but regardless, just happy you were open!

Dump ! Would give them a negative rating Paid the resort fee , paid the dog fee, paid for premium site 790 a week plus tax Asked for dish friendly site as per the booking Told all sites full so went to a back in site Dish didn’t work, trees, so tried the cable tv they advertise! Doesn’t work and hasn’t worked in months per one of the local tenants! Reservations are done off site so if you call them they forwarded your message to no avail Got a local phone number and left message Not a peep! This park is for local residents on weekends, I was told park sold out unable to move Sunday to Friday a ghost town ! So after 15 years coming here, NEVER AGAIN! FYI office closes at 6 pm you’re on your own

It was in a nice location to Harpers Ferry and good for children. I have a few concerns! The movie room was filled with boxes and clutter. Around the pillow jumping pad were lots of rocks, it needed to be racked and sand added. The indoor basketball court was also a storage area and did not have any basketballs with air! We enjoyed the pancake breakfast and in the summer the pool would be nice. It could use a little more TLC!

Honestly knew the trip would be interesting when we pulled in to the parking lot to check in and saw all the RV crammed in like sardines. Our cabin site was set up super poorly. They are all right on top of one another. There is no privacy at all and it’s very difficult to park you car next to the cabin without it being in the road. There are no camp fire chairs, just a picnic table and a porch swing. The outside light didn’t work. The inside clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly all year. There were spiderwebs everywhere, dust, dirt, and the bathroom always had a wet smell to it. On the last night we found b bugs and watched them crawl into the wood work of the cabin. We were extremely careful traveling home and luckily they didn’t hitchhike, and we were given a refund. They had nowhere to move us to, and it was 1am so we had to stay in the cabin in a different room then were the bugs were found.…

It is a nice Campground and has an excellent location to Harpers Ferry historical sites. The sites themselves are flat and maintained. The cable is horrible only to be sadly outdone by the next to worthless wifi. Generally I am a KOA fan since usually you know what to expect. This campground however was disappointing.

We visited Harper’s Ferry WV for 6 days in June. We camped at the Harper’s Ferry KOA and loved it. They are very friendly & helpful, sites r large and level. There is a walking trail to a restaurant with live music and the rafting company. The campground has a Park Ranger tour on site and the neighboring farm for free! Very informative and fun! We did the tubing and had a blast! We also loved that the National park was right across the street. You park your car at the entrance and get bussed into Harper’s Ferry! I think it was $20 per car for a 3 day pass. We also hiked the Maryland Heights trail. The views are spectacular! The town has shops and we ate at the rabbit hole, great food at reasonable prices! My daughter in law ordered fish & chips and the picture shows what she got! It was delicious! I definitely recommend Harper’s ferry for families, couples, history buff or not!…

We checked in on Saturday the 23rd of July for a weeks stay. When we first arrived there was a lot of trash in one of our 2 sites. The sites aren’t kept up. I am curious how often they weed wip or mow. The cement is crumbling which makes a tripping hazard to say the least. The game room was dirty and the bathrooms there had the same trash to the top for 3 days. The laundry mat is really dirty. Someone came around last night and closed the pool about 30 minutes early. While we waited for our rafting trip at the office/store this morning not one staff member acknowledged us or even inquired about our stay etc. most KOA’s of this size give you first class service and keep the property better. Good news we love the area so that is a huge plus. I know it’s a struggle to find good help but this is sad for a KOA.…

We have stayed here a number of times while exploring the area. The Harpers Ferry NHP is a half-mile away, and worth the visit. The KOA has plenty of activities and amenities for the entire family. The staff here was fantastic.
