Thus was the last stop on our honeymoon and we thought we were treating ourselves to somewhere nice, not so...over priced and under providing. The pictures on the websites (both their own and third party) are misleading, the rooms are clean but basic, no fridge, kettle etc and our bathroom had no bath. Reception staff had no note of our... Book the room on the expectations that the Hyatt was a first class hotel. Not what you would expect for what you pay. The front staff were not friendly at all. Would not book us a ride to the airport as we were told we had booked through expedia. The lobby furniture is in dire need of updating. Rooms were... More

Booked our room based on the hotel website - it was very old, horrible front desk staff - not helpful at all - and the worst part was they told us they couldn't help us because we had booked through Expedia!!! Wouldn't book our cab for us to the airport, put us on a ground floor room which we did... More

Large family, booked 2 attached rooms. Overall quality of the rooms were very good. Modern furniture, very clean. Don't understand people who complain about noisy air conditioners. Really??Only complaint is parking (30 bucks off site, 56 bucks on site) and no free wifi. If you can get past that. location is outstanding. Right in the center of everything. No need... More

This hotel is an OK hotel that's slap-bang in the Fisherman's Wharf area, not far from the cable car terminus and the piers (specifically Pier 39 and Pier 33). The room was pretty average, but clean. Looked slightly dated, with weird wooden slide doors for the bathroom. There was a hotel safe, which was good, and a modern HD TV... More

Hotel was not as good as we'd been led to believe by the reviews. In general the king bedded room was an adequate size but furniture was tired and dated, air conditioning was noisy and our room (265) was above the door to the hotel parking which seemed to bang fairly constantly. Wifi is not free in rooms and bottled... More

When I've stayed in Hyatts before they were higher-end hotels with an atrium or other feature in the center of the hotel and rooms all around the outside. This particular Hyatt was not like that...it was laid out like an average hotel. That said, it was clean and is in an excellent location to walk to Pier 39 or to... More

Location perfect; Free Wifi only in the lobby, Wifi on the rooms is quite expensive; we tried to get two rooms next to each other for our family which the hotel missed to manage; staff professionally friendly; the rooms are quiet despite the downtown location; so ok and not less than you expect, but not more neither

Just returned from a 4 day trip to San Francisco where we stayed at the Hyatt at Fisherman`s Wharf. The only thing I really found wrong with it was there were white ring marks in the black la quire finish of the furniture. Overall furniture just seemed worn and tired, this is true for the lobby furniture as well. Housekeeping... More

We were met by nobody and dragged our own bags ito the hotel, the front desk personel were cold and unfriendly and acted as if they were doing us a favor by checking us into the hotel. The only nice and friendly person was the fellow who brought our bags to our room, the rest of the staff were unfriendly... More
