My husband and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 4 days in July. We were given a room upgrade which had a great view of the city. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful at all times. Good location. More

We chose the Grand Hyatt due to its central location and the fact that it had been very recently refurbished. It was a great choice. Its proximity to Union Square, the cable car, good restaurants and shops was fantastic. Our room felt brand new, spotlessly clean and fresh, and was stylish and well appointed. We had a very comfortable king... More

If you want to be the heart of the action, this is where you stay. My family and I were there for 5 nights. Every day we had breakfast in one of the very many lovely places near by. The concierge service was brilliant. They were on top of things and made relevant and interesting suggestions. All the shops are... More

This property was the book end to a week-long business trip to California, with less than 12 hours on the grounds. Here are the highlights: - Valet parking is $49. Don't say no one told you. According to other reviewers, there are other, cheaper alternatives in the Union Square area. - There is no sundries shop at this property. Go... More

My family recently stayed here for 3 nights. It was a great location, which is why we chose it. We were happy enough with the renovated room and amenities that the hotel had to offer. The staff were also very helpful. This isn't top notch luxury, it's not a huge room, and the lobby is still undergoing renos, but overall... More

I stayed at this hotel with family back in early December. We rented two rooms which were connecting. This was really nice as we were able to freely move between the two rooms. There was an initial hiccup with the automatic blind as it wouldn't lower properly. The guy that came to fix it was not very friendly but did... More

About a month ago I decided to spend a week in San Francisco with my wife at the beginning of April 2012. I selected the Grand Hyatt as our Hotel after some extensive research. I phoned the Hotel and was offered a suitable booking with a package which offered “two-breakfasts-for-the-price-of-one”. Total cost … a not unreasonable $1,700. When the email... More

This hotel is located right in the financial district, within a block of Chinatown, luxury shops, two blocks to the cable car stop and wonderful restaurants. Taxi ride is a short distance to Harris's Steakhouse restaurant, one of the best. More

General SUMMARY: Center of it all location, renovated rooms, efficient + friendly service and wonderful views...totally satisfied. CHECK-IN: Smooth, uncomplicated and recognized as rewards program members. Only shortfall, would have beneficial for agent to ask about whether I was parking, as I called ahead and apparently given incorrect parking information. F&B: Ah...Only had a chance to enjoy breakfast buffet, but... More

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt last weekend and there is only way to describe our experience 'Just Excellent'. They have a great restaurant for breakfast and their location was very convenient for our needs. Our room was great and I like the amenities and thick towels. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone who would like to stay in... More
