This motel is decent, but not really near anything you will probably be doing in SF. The area is okay, but I wouldn't want to hang out there at night. It's quite a hike down to Market to catch a tram to Union Square, the Embarcadero, or the Piers. The parking was free in the parking garage & the rooms... More

We stayed at this place for two nights while we were doing a roundtrip from LA. The rooms are very "simple" and the "breakfast" consisted of a coffee over the counter. SF is a rough city, as is this Hotel. You get in and out with your chipcard, simulating a little safety. There were very few tourists here and we... More

This was the perfect situation where You need to pick Your priorities. Pros: Motel is very affordable, in fair distance form city center and includes parking slot (which is always good ). Cons: Security is below poor, You can get to rooms without passing any of the employees or registration desk. Very questionable block with a lot of dangerous looking... More

Where do you start. Cheap fitout, ordinary beds, flaking paint, paper thin walls, paper thin towels.... Probably the worst part is that the elevator opens to the driveway into the parking lot. More than once we saw people use the elevator who jumped in from the street. Very poor security imho. The area around the motel is dodgy as well,... More

This hotel has a few things going for it. First they have free parking which is rare in centrally located San Francisco hotels. The price (especially if you have a car) is reasonable and in line with some of the old pension style SF hotels that lack a private bath. My room was also huge, the people at the front... More

The hotel is not expensive and in the city center, I booked it during my trip all around the USA thinking it was a good deal. When we arrived we realized that that area, even if very central, is one of the most dangerous in S. Francisco. The hotel and rooms are very basic but they seemed clean, the staff... More

I think it is not correct to give low grades to this hotel and compare it to others where you spend 200$+ for a room. I stayed here for 3 nights during last summer and I can say our experience was very good for what we paid. The location is central, you can leave the car for free and the... More

The room was so disgusting I literally slept fully clothed, with my hoody on so even my neck would not touch the unsanitary pillow case. I even kept my shoes on. I'm not really prissy or stuck up, but believe me, this place is not sanitary. They don't provide a hair dryer. When I asked the man at the front... More

When I first saw the photos of this place I was reluctant to stay here. The property appeared old, but when I arrived I was surprised to see how clean the place was. The staff was very friendly and the room I received was nice, my only complaint was the floor near the sink was a little creaky. The bathroom... More

We stayed 3 nights in late September at the Motel 6. The rooms are basic but have a mini fridge. You get to the rooms by a key card activated elavator. Our room was cleaned daily, towels left and bed made. The bed was a little on the hard side . It did get a little noisy at night but... More
