Stayed here because the location is great. Have never spent this much $$ and had no amenities, not even wifi in the room, just USB cable. No tissues, no cups/glasses, and most of all no smiles! Half the hotel is residential it turns out, so interesting folks making lots of noise at night. Look for other options.

The Herbert hotel was in the best location for the price. Right in the middle of San Francisco shopping and restraunts at union square. The room was lovely and clean. A little small, but all we needed for sleeping. We would love to go back :)

This place was a true gem. We stayed in room 700 and we were delighted. Perfect location to discover san francisco ! Great restaurants nearby Hotel had great deco. We would go back ! Missing wifi on top floor. Reception needs improvement in terms of service at night
