This hotel had it all - great location, attentive staff, all the amenities, and wonderful views. The fitness center was nice, plenty of treadmills. Easy walk to convention center and to China town. Internet is an extra fee - seems a bit much for what the rooms go for, and parking is very expensive, but overall I would highly recommend.

The location is right near (but not on) Union Square, which makes this hotel relatively quiet. The hotel is tucked into Union Square. The upper level views are spectacular. Caring staff. Great base for walking. Parking is expensive so find another place to park and walk. Much more personable than the huge San Francisco Marriott.

Most Marriotts feature out-of-date decors in their rooms, but the room decor at this Marriott is very modern while also consistent with the Marriott brand.
