We recently stayed here as an RCI weeks trade. We were pleased to find the location central to everything we wanted to do, and near lot of restaurants. Near bus routes and not too far from the famous cable cars. The facility itself is pretty impeccable. Lobby is big and nice. Clean, comfortable well-appointed rooms. In fact, our room (3rd... More

The Wyndham Canterbury is located on Sutter Street which is convenient to just about everything you want to see and do in the city. Restaurants are withing walking distance and the public transportation system is excellent. A car is not needed. It is a busy urban area and it can be noisy. On the other hand, the rooms are well... I stayed at the Canterbury with my wife. We used time share points with Wyndham. Our room had a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and small area for dining. The bathroom was completely modern and updated. The location was in the heart of the city, but it wasn't very loud. Short walk to grocery or to Union Square. There is a charge... More

The location is in the heart of downtown, so it's busy/noisy. Having said that, our room was on the 2nd floor facing the street, and we did not have a problem with the noise once we closed the windows (the living area faced the street, and the bedroom was a little further back). As far as location, it's easily accessible... More

The Wyndham Canterbury is a very nice property. The location may leave a bit to be desired but all in all it cannot be beat. The parking valets were great fun and informative. The front desk check-in was quick and easy. The staff was first class. Upon check-in you are pointed to the concierge desk for any help you may... More

We stayed here for a week and loved everything about it - great historic building with tons of character yet updated and beautiful rooms. Add to this the fantastic service by absolutely everyone we encountered and we could not have asked for more! Oh ya - nice location too as it was about a 10 minute walk to Union Square.... More

I loved this timeshare city resort. Mind you, I am not a big lover of visiting big cities with all the noise, traffic and congestion, but I am a sucker for deals! When you check in, you are referred to the concierge desk for help planning your vacation stay. Here we met an absolute gem of an employee, Elle. We... More

The rooms and staff were Great, as for the cost We were just using up the remainder of our points to enjoy a night in San Francisco. Every one was telling us about the parking problem in Frisco, there was no problem I parked the truck directly across the street from hotel Saturday 4pm on Sutter. Cost 3 bucks and... More

Bewware and understand what you are sigining when you buy this time share. Unless you boook 6 to nine months in advance it is almost impossible to obtain rooms in desireable location. A invitation to a bufffet breakfast is oine to b pitched again and egg, ham sandwich. The no strings $50.00 AMEX credit is to sit through another presentation.... More

A group of 7 of us decided to take a weekend trip in February to San Francisco from Vegas and our friends were nice enough to use their Wyndham timeshare points to book the 3 bedroom presidential suite at the Canterbury. The hotel is located in an excellent area, with short walks to the Trolley stops, Union Square, fine and... More
