We were a little wary of booking this B&B based on other reviews. However, our stay was really fantastic. The B&B is centrally located within walking distance of everthing in bar harbor and is about 1.5 miles from the national park.
The room we stayed in was the cheapest and didn't face the ocean but was very well presented with...

Great location, less than five minutes to shopping and great restaurants. The accommodations were very nice and a great value. Breakfast was simple, yet adequate: bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt and one prepared hot entree each morning. All this plus free WIFI!
My girlfriend and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The Inn was nice and the location great. We stayed despite other reviews warning of double billing down the road...a mistake as that has happened to us and is still not resolved. Overall, though a nice place, don't stay unless you have time to fix problems.
My fiance and I, stayed at the Ridgeway last month for my birthday. We had an amazing time, our room was very nice and the jacuzzi was very relaxing. A full breakfast was served in the morning, that was very delicious.. stuffed french toast was great! Innkeepers were very friendly.
Wish we could have stayed longer! Will be back to...

My wife and I were lucky enough to get 3 nights "away" last May so we went up to Bar Harbor. We were not sure what to expect since town was just opening for the season. We came across the Ridgeway Inn (open year round by the way) and immedietly knew we had found the right place. The family that...

Owners use as their home and have 2 boys,,,,get used to kid noise. You probably won't see the owners, we had a note to call them in order to check in.....Have to share parking with the owners. We were chastised for not leaving enough room for them to park. Worst deal, check you credit card statements carefully, both we and...

Traveled to Bar Harbor with a friend for some cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Found the Ridgeway just by driving around town. Great quiet inn, friendly people, clean. We were able to walk to what restaurants were open, not many by the way. The rates were very affordable. Hoping to be back this summer.
Have stayed at the Ridgeway a couple times before. I am a native of Maine and love to visit Bar Harbor in the off season. the Ridgeway has a great location and the owners/innkeepers are great. Love the fireplace in the common area and the rooms are sooo quiet. will always make this my first choice in bar harbor.
Last autumn I had to make a last minute cancellation at the Ridgeway Inn because of severe weather. I understand that the Inn has a 14 day cancellation policy, but the owner Jennifer said it wasn't a problem and she hoped that we could come up later in the winter instead. I was so relieved that she would refund the...
