Booked a studio for 2 nights with a view to staying for a month if it was OK. It's terrible. We moved to a homely place up the road at sharks cove where we rented a room for the month. We were visited in the studio both nights by a large well fed mouse. I'm pretty easy going but the... More

We stayed in a standard studio in the beach house on the 2nd floor. The unit was dirty and dusty, and the building was in very poor condition. There were no amenities, not even soap. The kitchen was so poorly equipped that cooking was impossible; we had to do take out instead. The ancient 2 burner hotplate was a fire... More

We stayed both in the beach side cots ($35/day) and up by the office. The beach side rooms were worth the extra $5/day. They were quite spacious and had a little balcony to sit on. Craig, the manager, is a really nice laid back guy who's really great about helping you find places to surf. The cleanliness is not the... More

I came to North Shore solo, and you couldn't get a better spot. In the morning, crashing waves great you to a beautiful sunny day! The Plantation Village is a minute from Starbucks and Foodland, where you are literally spoiled for choice in the food department! It is a short 20 minute walk to the heart of Pipeline. I had... This is a difficult one to review because it's a hostel so you don't have high expectations - apart from a cheaper room. The location is really good and overall it's a place with a good feel. We got a private room in a cabin. This was clean enough for a hostel and ok on that front but the bathroom... More

I chose this accommodation as it is a few minutes walk to two shore snorkelling sites - Three Tables and Shark's Cove, affordable, safety and for its rural setting. I expected clean and basic. I felt I got more than this - with very friendly but not intrusive staff. I had my own room which had a good bed and nice... More

My nine year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location was good but for the price, we would not return. The room was basic to say the least and was not what i would call clean. We didn't have high expectations of this place but for the price I did expect more. On a positive side... More

I needed to be on the North shore for a reasonable price for 2 nights. I asked for a private room but that being unavailable I tried a dorm. I was stuck on the top bunk about 2 feet from the ceiling, on a squeekie metal bunk that shook whenever the person on the bottom moved. I got almost no... More

This hostels is one of the best I`d ever stayed in. We stayed at the cabin behing the office for 3 weeks. The location is amazing and one could not asked for a better scenery. The beach is a 10 sec walk from your house while the supermarked is a couple of min away. Haleiwa is actually a 10 min... More
