Stayed in the spacious Lehua Cottage for two nights....now fantasizing about living there for a month! Books early and has many repeat visitors, so my dream will probably remain just that....Anne and Marvin have created an amazing calm, exquisite homestead in Kula. Incredible views, on 8 acres of lush land filled with flowering plants, fruit trees, etc. they are both... More

These wonderful folks have thought of everything you might need. The cottage was immaculate and the gardens were beautiful. The papaya, passion fruit, yoghurt and muffins for breakfast were just perfect. When Anne learned I enjoyed gardening and nature, she shared some treasured books to enhance my stay. Did I mention the stars, at night the sky is unbelievably beautiful... More

We stayed for two nights in the Lehua Cottage and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The cottage is spacious and spotless, and the setting is magically quiet with amazing views. Anne is super helpful but gives you your privacy. Highly recommend!!

We stayed for 4 nights in the "Lehua Cottage", and we really enjoyed every minute of it! On arrival, we had a very interesting talk with the owner Anne. She gave us lots of information about the cottage, hikes, restaurants, shopping,...... The cottage is very spacious, very clean and well-maintained. Everything what you need is inside! The terrace gives you... More

We stayed in the Mahaina cottage and were met by Anne, who was a super friendly and relaxed. She led us into the separate enclosure where the cottage rooms are located (there's a fence between the cottage area/deck and the main house and there's a separate entrance) and we were amazed at how lovely and peaceful the rooms were -... I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived here at the Moonlight Garden, the Mahaina Cottage is so lovely. Although located about 30 minutes from Kahului it is worth the drive. The views from the deck are priceless. The cottage is surrounded by lush greenery. The cottage itself was immaculate. There is a living area, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and large deck.... More

This property has two cottages and we stayed in the Mahaina Cottage. The word Mahaina is Hawaiian for Moonlight and it is appropriate. Located about 3000 up the side of Haleakala it has wonderful views from the lanai which overlooks the valley below all the way to the West Maui mountains. There is a nice garden below with many beautiful... More

This review is very belated....but better late than never! My boyfriend and I stayed here last summer and it was the absolute highlight of the 4 places we stayed while visiting Maui. The Mahina Cottage is enormous, private, fully appointed, and just plain beautiful. Our hosts were perfect, gave us just the right amount of attention, and the grounds are... More

To begin our three-stop tour in Maui at Maui Moonlight Garden in the Upcountry was a magical moment. Our hosts, Anne and Marvin, presented Mahena Cottage to us for three nights featuring incredible views of the coast and clouds surrounding Halakela from the deck, advice on local places to walk and eat, freedom to roam their gardens, morning calls of... We stayed in the Lehua Cottage (one of two available) at this B&B, for 2 nights. It is up on the shoulder of Haleakula, so it is out of the humid heat of sea level Maui, yet is not too cold. (A light sweater is a good idea, though). It is quiet except for the sounds of birds and the... More
