I'm a bit delayed in writing this review, but with the cold weather here in Australia, it got me thinking about the warmth of the Hawaiian Island - Kaua'i and the amazing experience that I had Whalers Cove. I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights here with a group late last year. From the moment we arrived the hospitality... More

I've been a visitor to Kauai in general and Poipu in particular for over 30 years - probably something like 100 visits and counting (my wife used to fly for United and so we would frequently just junp on a plane to spend a weekend in the Islands - ah, the good old days :-). But I digress. Just returned... More

Whaler's Cove is well maintained, with breathless views of the ocean and cove. The view was stunning from the large lanais, master bedroom and shower. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks and almost imagine that you are out at sea. The pool was beautiful and not crowded at all. Unfortunately the owner of the unit clearly counted... More

We just had a wonderful family reunion with family members staying in four separate condos, but based our dinners and gatherings in 211. Spacious, awesome views, great kitchen. It's tucked in amongst the other condos on the ground floor, yet offered great views and privacy. Really clean and the staff pay attention to detail. Tropical breezes blowing through, watching dolphins... More

We have been visiting Whalers Cove for 12 years. We are always greeted by the wonderful staff ( from manager, office staff, and maintenence folks) as if we were family. We book directly through the office. They do everything possible to meet or exceed our needs. We have stayed in many of the condos and all have been wonderfully appointed... More

Just back from our 4th trip to Whaler's. We had the luxury of getting Unit #138 which is the only condo with a 180 degree view of the cove and ocean. Basically we did not move from the balcony. There was no need as the sunrises and sunsets were stunning. The unit seems to have been recently renovated..super clean, nice... More

We are just packing up after a one week stay at Unit 130 in Whalers Cove. What a wonderful vacation! The unit is spotless, modern and beautifully decorated. Super views of the ocean from the lanai and upstairs from the master bedroom and even the shower in the master bath. We saw spinner dolphins and whales from the unit and... More

Very special resort on the South Side. Two nicely arranged buildings with several apartments – all equipped with everything needed for both overnight or permanent stay. Each apartment has different owner so although architectural pattern might be similar but the interior arrangement, décor and details are different, reflecting their style. Not all apartments are for rent. All apartments are either... More

Had another amazing stay at WC! A quick 3 day weekend to see the Kauai Marathon! Unit 230 was perfect-very well appointed. The service is always 5*. Aileen at the front office was so professional and accomodating and the daily room service is a huge bonus. Loved watching the spinner dolphins from the lanai..the sunsets and most of all the... Awesome place. We stayed in unit 132 and it was nothing short of perfect. The sight and sound of the nonstop crashing waves was unforgettable. The unit itself was spacious, spotless and felt like a home instead of a vacation villa. We tried not spending a lot of time in the condo (since there is so much to do around... More
