We just returned from Poipu and declined our condo in this complex upon arrival. The interior of our condo showed very nicely, and the view was great, but the exterior and the amenities are in poor repair. Such is island life.

Had a 2 bedroom unit with a balcony right above the ocean. Watched turtles swimming in the surf up close and personal. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!

Just got back from a week trip to Kauai and stayed in 101A at Poipu Shores. The unit was nicely updated and clean and the location can't be beat. We were right next to the pool and about a 5 minute walk from the beach. This unit has 2 master bedrooms, both with king beds (maybe 1 was a queen?)...

We stayed at PoiPu Shores for 8 nights, did a lot of research before we came and while we were here. We think this setting is the best in the PoiPu area for this price range. Not sure why this complex is so low rated, maybe the recent updates will help raise it's status.
