Plus side: comfortable bed, ocean and sunrise view, clean swimming pool and jacuzzi, expected amenities Minus side: too close to road - very noisy, especially when trying to sleep, and parking lot light shone brightly into bedroom Coral, rock beach This unit is old, and getting quite shabby, but the general location is convenient

We stayed 6 days at Kapaa Shores. We were in a upstairs unit. With loft. Had a view if the pool and partial ocean. The two kids had a blast in the pool and beaches. Though you can't play in the beach on the property due to the coral reef. There are plenty of beaches a short drive or walk... More

Tile floors and thin walls made the stay here awful. You could hear conversations, shower use and people walking on the floor above at all hours. I won't be back.

My husband and I, his brother and wife stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath rental in Building C. The sunrise from our balcony were incredible. Waves lulled us to sleep every night. We saw whales while we grilled dinner. The grounds are well kept as well as other common areas (pool, BBQ grills). Pool/spa closing times were enforced.

Front desk service great to average depending whatgirls were on. The room was great we had a 2 bedroom. The loft bedroom can carry noise though if someone is asleep in the loungs on the foldout.Location is central and close to grocery stores. It has a pool and spa and nice ocean view, and owners room w ith a computer.... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. I was really happy with it and would happily stay again. It had pool, hot tub, bbq, comfortable sunbathing, great tidepools and beautiful view. Close to food, groceries and 5 minutes away from snorkeling and boogie board/surfing. A car is mandatory in Kauai. We generally don't spend a lot of time indoors except... More

We had an amazing stay at Kappa Shores. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The grounds and the pool are attended to daily. The view is beautiful and although the beachfront is not a swimming beach, it is gorgeous. Easy drive to several beaches in the area for swimming, snorkeling and body surfing. Kealia beach was our personal favorite.... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite there with a great view of the ocean. The moon was full the first few days we were there and it looked so beautiful - almost fake. The beds are not that comfortable but the view and sounds of the ocean make up for it. We actually ended up sleeping in the living... More

We enjoyed a recent 8 day stay for our daughter's wedding ceremony that was held at Poipu Beach this January. There were a total of 17 of us staying in four of the condos at Kapaa Shores. We found our own oceanfront room on the second floor outstanding. The decor of bamboo furniture was delightful and the rooms were spacious... More

A friend of mine has a timeshare at Kapaa Shores and a bunch of us spent some time on this property. The room was ocean front (make sure your specify that) and the view was absolutely gorgeous. I've been to some gorgeous places in Mexico, but I find that kauai has been the only place that I can truly disconnect... More
