This was my first trip to the Big Island and I enjoyed the amenities of the Mauna Lani Resort. Our unit in the Islands, K3, was quite spacious for 4 people and we enjoyed the location on the golf course. I thought the beach area (although small) was lovely and the snorkeling from the beach was great! We were there... More

On previous trips to the Big Island, we have always stayed at the Mauna Lani Point condos. We love them but found them to be a bit pricey for our budget this January. We, instead, booked the Islands through Hotwire. Our unit, G3, was very spacious for the two of us. When it was built 20 years ago, it must... More

Stayed in condo A1 which was great overall but needs desperately needs an upgrade to all the beds. The King bed in one room had a ridge along the middle of the mattress that would make Mauna Loa proud. Never could get comfortable and felt like you were going to roll onto the floor. The other bedroom had two worn... More

The Islands are are world onto themselves, quiet and tranquil grounds and spacious, well appointed townhomes. All resort attractions and facilities are within walking distance or require a short drive.

The layout of this condo was perfect for two couples, but the condition of the unit was poor and outdated. The furnishings and kitchen in particular were especially outdated. The beds weren't comfortable, which is huge. The pool area and beach club were nice and daily maid service was a plus for a condo. I'D LIKE TO SAY WE'D RETURN,... More

This entire resort is great. Our family always stays at the Islands at the Mauna Lani, which are beautiful houses used as vacation rentals. They are all furnished tastefully, with a maid service that comes every day to clean and change the linens. The houses all have decks and patios, as well as BBQ's (although one year we got a... More

We've stayed here several times before and have always booked through Classic Resorts although you can also book through VRBO. We've always asked for an end unit and have always ended up with the same unit. This particular two bedroom condo is clean, well decorated and well kept. However, on our most recent trip this condo was not available and... More

We have stayed at the hotel before, but this time decided to try the townhouses at the Islands. It was gorgeous. We had lots of room and blessed peace and quiet. However, whenever we wanted adventure, the beach is really nice. Great for snorkeling, learning to paddleboard or surf and having a good time! We stayed 10 nights and never... More

We stayed in The Islands at Mauna Lani with 2 families, and I like the idea that all bedrooms are suites... and we do not need to pay for parking... The resort was about 30 minutes drive north of the airport... There is a small four-foot-deep swimming pool with waterfall in the resort. Our kids enjoyed it... You will have... More

Mature grounds, spacious and well designed floor plans, each bedroom has a large en suite bath, and a large well equipped kitchen - a perfect family vacation. Our 5th visiit because of the warm aloha about this property. No ocean views, but the beach is a hike or drive away and uncrowded and lovely. Management team is located near the... More
