My spouse and I truly enjoyed the four nights that we spent here. We are normally 'hotel' people, but when we found this place, we thought it sounded so unique ("we stayed on a macadamia nut farm on the Big Island!"). It lived up to our expectations. We stayed in the large two-room suite around the backside of the main... More

We recently stayed at this bed and breakfast. The website mislead us to think we would be staying in the main house, going up the grand staircase, have breakfast in a spacious room with french doors open to a glorious view and have use of laundry facilities. Instead we were staying in a converted shed with paperthin walls. When we... More

Spent five nights on the property. Charlena and Courtney where great hosts. The breakfast was great and the room was up to date large bathroom and comfortable sofa. While there to visit our daughter. The town is small and we ate at all the local resturants food was okay. The best part was learning so much about the island things... More

I read these reviews before I traveled to the "Big Island"...and not only did I get what I expected but more... Having just spent the last week at their home..... The place was the perfect spot to extensively discover the south part of the island. Each day I was able to discover more of their island... Hiking in Volcano National... More

My husband and I rode our tandem around the Big Island this January, and I was worried about where to stay between Volcano Village and South Kona area, a very long way to ride a bike. I was delighted to find Macadamia Meadows B&B. Charlene' welcomed us with true aloha, the breakfast was great, and a great shower and restful... More

We used this B&B as a stepping off place for South Point, Kahuku Ranch hike, Green Sand Beach, Punalu'u, even Volcanoes National Park. The room was great, clean, good bed, microwave and refrig. Listen CAREFULLY as the chatty hostess explains the shower: you have to turn the hot water on all the way, then adjust using cold water tap ONLY.... More

I started researching and booking our Hawaiian adventure last summer. You know, once in a lifetime trip kinda of thing, and when I read about the Macadamia Farm at the south end of the island I thought how charming and how fantastic for us to have a 2 bedroom apartment for us as our teenager is 6'3". I spoke to... More

We didn't know exactly what to expect when we booked accommodation at a working macademia nut farm, but we were pleasantly surprised. Despite being a farm, the setting was unexpectedly calm and quiet. We stayed in the Macademia Room and found it to be very comfortable and spacious. Charlene treated us with a tour of the farm which was very... More

I spent five nights at this B&B in the south of the Big Island, convenient to the Volcano National Park as well as other interesting spots like the best black sand beach, the only green sand beach, and the southernmost point of land in the United States. Breakfasts were served on the lanai of the “big house” and were good... More
