Stayed one night - hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, room was basic but clean, and the grounds were gorgeous and quiet.

There are limited choices in Hilo for those who want to avoid a faceless, anonymous hotel -- this is the perfect alternative. Totally agree with previous reviews. We loved the singing frogs, but ear plugs are free for people who may not. Perfect experience. Like an international hostel with well travelled guests, but definitely superior accomodations. Book early. We tried to return but they were full.

Located a few blocks from downtown Hilo, this hotel is affordable. The backyard has a cool creek and jungle like set up that you can walk through. The kitchenette is a nice addition to saving money while staying there.
