It's a different experience driving up through the macadamia farms, but the Inn wouldn't be the same if it were easy to find. We stayed in the Harmony House and weren't disappointed. From the waterfall outside our balcony tou the walks in the Bamboo Garden our nature experience was peaceful and grand. On the inside, Lea, our innkeeper, made us feel special and welcome guests. The breakfast prepared for us was perfect. Especially the macadamia nut waffle. We will definitely be back.

The Inn is beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable, and not that hard to find -- in daylight -- although the road is pretty bad. We didn't have a waterfall view from our room, but we could still hear it. We could see the ocean over the trees in the distance. The waterfall is amazing. The bamboo gardens are gorgeous. The road is lousy, and just when you think you've reached the end, there's more. It really is only about a 15-20 drive from the main road in Hilo if you follow the speed limits (and I would suggest doing so for sake of your car and bladder), but, when you get there...WOW!!! Beautiful place , out in the country , quite - except for the rumbling of the huge waterfall , great breakfast . There is a long drive from the main road but that gets you away from the busy roads . Nice trails and good views of the waterfall .
