First understand that being a historic hotel, it is also very rustic. But the bed was extremely comfortable, almost like home. The room I was in was warmed by a space heater, but I was nice and toasty pretty quickly. The service was fantastic, we got lots of information on the area and felt like we were one of the... More

Historic hotel room so don't expect any modern amenities (other than wi-fi). Room 10'x10', queen bed, dresser, night stand. Bath: sink, toilet, tub (no shower). 2nd floor rooms are over restaurant and bar so between 5 and 10pm, it's kinda noisey. Service is nice, check in at the bar. More

We stayed at The Wolf on 9/16/11 while travelling from Jackson Hole to RMNP. We pre-booked a two room suite (S-17) for $90 + tax. The 2nd floor suite consists of a spacious bedroom with a massive bed furnished with beautiful linens, a separate sitting area with a small sofa & coffee table and bathroom with shower (high ceilings throughout).... The staff behind the bar who checked us in was friendly. My family of four (including 2 teens) stayed in suite 20. It was the farthest back from the bar and restaurant. So, we had no trouble with late night noise. The room was clean with a few areas of peeling paint and squeaky floors, as to be expected in... More

Besides a great restaurant and saloon at the hotel, it has a relaxed the atmosphere is with lots of friendly people. It's a place to let go of your cell phone and need for wifi. You can easily walk and enjoy this whole town. Not to mention a fun 9 hole golf course, hot springs(emphasis on hot) 24/7 no charge,... More

We stayed in a suite here this summer and it was a great hotel. The place is an old west experience with great charm. Our beds were really comfortable and I never like hotel beds. The service was adequate-- there was not a desk person around the clock, but it seemed to work out fine. I would not recommend the... More

Had to walk-in to reserve a room last minute, and the bartender/owner maybe was very nice and accomodating. Apartment Suite on the top floor was much cheaper than small room at another hotel I was at the night before in the same town. Hotel is very old, bottom floor smelled like the restaurant, but the room I stayed in smelled... More

Whenever I travel through Saratoga (twice a year) I am happy to dine in the historic Hotel Wolf's restaurant - its charm is rustic enough for casual attire yet elegant enough to outpace other local eateries. I especially recommend the half pound (fresh ground sirloin) hamburgers with various toppings and the salad bar (the best one will find in this... More
