The Rivera might be the best keep secret in Wyoming! I always have a hard time leaving, service is outsanding and the rooms are the perfect balance of comfort and function.

My wife wanted to stay here after seeing all of the positive reviews. She picked a winner. We were on our way from Yellowstone NP to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and needed a place to stay along the way. The owner, Emi, was very personable and open about the history of the facility and the area. Our cabin backed up to... More

We spent the first night in Pinedale in a chain hotel room, depressing, smelly, dark and noisy. 2nd day we asked at the Pinedale outdoor store and was recommended to this lodge, which hugely improves our trip experience. We were put in a double room which the owner said is 'smallish', but there is a comfortably sized bathroom, a kitchen... More

This was the 2nd year we stayed at the Rivera. We like the proximity to hiking, the cozy rooms, & location next to the stream. But what we especially love is the proprietor, Emi, who we call our "fairy godmother". She is a great cook & these breakfasts really stick to your ribs when you go hiking. Also she helped... More

I joined friends who have been backpacking into the Wind River Range from the Rivera for more than a decade. The Rivera's rustic setting next to Pine Creek was the perfect place to acclimate and make final preparations for our nine day trek into the Jim Bridger Wilderness high country. And it was great to return to The Rivera's warm... More

My husband and I spent the night here while driving around the country - we were enroute to Grand Teton NP. Emi, the owner, and her dog, Bird, were absolutely gracious and welcoming. Because the town was repaving the road in front of the lodge, Emi upgraded us to a two-room cabin and gave us a gift certificate to Wind... More

Wonderful! Great location on the river, wonderful hard-working and knowledgeable host, tasty breakfast, very clean and comfortable; unpretentious updated cabin respected the period style. Our favorite motel on the trip.

If you are a seasoned traveler that enjoys the experience of charm, then this is the place for you! We had a wonderful time at this unique quaint charming cabin. From our being greeted outside by the sweet and ever tail wagging dog "bird" to meeting Emi who has created this spectacular place, we instantly felt welcomed home. Emi goes... More

My husband and I stayed here during the Rendezvous Days celebration. We were so very pleasantly surprised. Although the rooms and furnishings are older (but country charming), they are very clean. I mean shiny clean! The manager is very nice and warm and answered any questions that we had. Our dog was allowed, which is a huge plus for us.... More
