We stayed 2 nights, midweek in April. While basic, everthing about our room was clean and comfortable. Double pillow-top beds with extra pillows and blankets, plenty of large, soft towels and room darkening drapes that actually extended beyond the sliding glass doors to really block the east sun rising over the Wisconsin river. We've been staying at this motel for many many years. This time is was a great disappointment due to the cleaniness of the room, blankets had cigarette burns in them, there was an ant catcher on the bed post, air conditioner smelled like dead smoke and didn't regulate very well; the bathtub was filthy with a ring around it, the... NO internet, NO free brekfast, NO pool but a great bargain. A small family owned 20 room hotel right downtown for really cheap. ($43 corp rate). Clean and comfortable.
