Brought the wife and kids for a weeks vacation. The cottage was comfortable and clean, the lakefront is beautiful and the staff was quick to address any needs we had. The Pitstop bar and grill has a home made pizza the kids are still talking about. We will be back next year.
Oakland Pit Stop bar, and next door "cottages" and 6 unit "motel" for rent daily or weekly with very low prices, now we know why.
"Cottage" is a duplex of about 10X15'. It is about 10' from the hwy. It was completely filthy - weeks of dead bugs on all the surfaces, ledges. I would have gotten a clean sheet...
