Very nice hotel! The location is second to none in the area; it is right on the lake with access to the boat docks and many great shops and restaurants in the downtown area. Plenty of parking and easy access to the parking lot. I would recommend this and certainly will stay again.

Just got back from yet another annual winter overnight at the Holiday Inn. We typically get one of the king whirlpool suites that were created back in the 1990s with the hotel's new addition. This was the host hotel for a wedding we attended. This is a good hotel, but has a few issues. The rooms are average, but have some nice views. The bar is kind of nice. Would have enjoyed breakfast, but there are better places in the town to eat.

This property was originally a Best Western and converted to a Holiday Inn. In the early 90's a new section was added where all of the nicer rooms which face the Port Washington Lighthouse and harbor are located. I knew going in that it would be the most costly of the local hotels because of its "Location" however who ever owns this franchise has milked it dry. The carpeting appears to be 40 years old and so do the bathrooms it really wasnt very clean either.

For $100/night plus $25 extra for my dog, I expected a nicer hotel. The location is great, being right on Lake Michigan, the views are wonderful but inside the hotel-it needs some up keep.
