My wife and I spent a Saturday night there while visiting friends nearby. While its nothing special, we would definitely recommend it as a nice, reasonably-priced place to sleep for a night. The owners were very friendly. And as an added plus they welcome dogs (with a small extra charge).

If you're looking for a holiday resort, this is not it. But if you want a friendly reception, quiet comfortable night with clean sheets and towels, and a clean hot shower in the morning - all at the low price - this motel fits the description.

I have been staying at the Grand Motel for years. It's 1/2 way between the Twin Cities and our family cottage in MI. It has always been clean, inexpensive and quiet. The owners are very friendly and accomodating.

Stayed here multiple times throughout the years before newer accommodations came to Pembine, WI. Basically it's a motel from the 50's or 60's, with little or no updates since then.
