We stayed in a shoreside motel room. Beautiful view of the bay...First week they were open for the summer, so not too busy. But owners were on the site, friendly and very clean. I would especially recommend it as a summer place for families..

Our family stayed at The Shallows over the 4th of July. I was very pleased with the accommodations. Everything was clean and well-taken cared of. The grounds were beautiful and lush with plenty of bikes, kayaks and paddles for everyone to enjoy. We stayed in the Gatehouse, the one-beroom suite units, and absolutely loved it. Apparently the resort underwent an upgrade a few years ago and it is evident.
