Jon & Sharon, Innkeepers of the Gollmar House B&B, have preserved and kept this historical home which they share with everyone fortunate enough to discover it. The rooms are lovely and genuine, comfortable and elegant. Breakfast is delicious, but we found ourselves more engaged in the conversation with these wonderful hosts. The Gollmar House has its own stories, but be... More

We stayed at the Gollmar Guest House so we could participate in the Baraboo Wine Walk (which is held twice per year). Their home is walking distance from the downtown square so the location is excellent. Sharon & Jon were amazing hosts and exceeded our expectations for our stay. Their house has a lot of character, including the cherub painting... More

We used this as home base before joining the extended family for a reunion at nearby Devil's Lake State Park, and were very happy with our accommodations in Isabelle's room. The bed was comfortable, and featured one of Sharon's handmade quilts. It also has a double whirlpool, but we didn't allow enough free time in our schedule to enjoy it.... More

My husband and I wanted a quick trip for Labor Day weekend so chose Baraboo - 90 minutes from Milwaukee. We stayed at the Gollmar Guest House for three nights in the Isabelle Room. Sharon and Jon, the proprietors, were extremely friendly and accomodating-they were great. Sharon's gorgeous quilts were all over the house, including on the beds. They had... More

We always stay at a B&B when we travel. The Gollmar house was THE BEST B&B we have EVER been to! It was clean, excellent decorated, charming, gorgeous and the innkeepers (Jon and Sharon) were EXCELLENT! It was the best breakfast we have ever eaten - and so much food! Sharon met us at the curb when we arrived -... More

The host of this quaint BnB in Baraboo bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. We called to let them know when we could be expected and she was waiting for us on the porch. She greeted us warmly gave us a quick tour of the property and asked us if we had a breakfast preference. We were the... More

We stayed at the Gollmar Guest House in July'03 and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful. We had the attic room which really wasn't any higher up than the other rooms but did have sloped ceilings like an attic would. This room had a fireplace and also a whirlpool tub although we didn't use either. The breakfast was... More
